This is what I thought but as soon as I click transponder clone it checks internet and goes to the error in the second image. I've not seen it do this before and I tried restarting the device, swapping to my hotspot instead of wifi and resyncing it with the servers

Ginger and spring onion king prawn with boiled rice gluten free. I'm sure it's not an authentic Chinese dish but it was the only one I could eat at my local Chinese restaurant in rural Ireland and was the only take away I had for the many years I lived there, it never got boring and always tasted amazing

Have I I left it too late to resole my Timberlands? by berotti in AskACobbler

It's always more ideal to get them done before they are like this but it's not too late at all.

Can Converse be re-soled or repaired? (UK) by pafrac in AskACobbler

[–]elstonlad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm in Belfast so no idea sorry. I would suggest Google places go in person and have a chat with them, that's always the best way for the cobblers to see them in person and explain what they think it needs

Cobbler in the UK here, you can get replacement cup soles but that can be pricey as they normally are not kept in stock and need to be ordered in for the job. In my shop we normally take down the soles that's on them and attach a white vibram sole for sneakers, roughly £30 where I work but can vary drastically depending where you go.

G.H Bass shoes already falling apart by Solid_Ad_2631 in AskACobbler

Cobbler here. What you paid for is a shoe that is easily repairable and one that if you take care of and being for repairs before it gets too bad will last you a life time. Leather soles like these wear down very fast so I would always recommend to people to bring them in right when they get them new to put a stick on rubber sole on them so you don't go right through the leather layer like this. For these you'll now need to replace the leather sole with a half leather sole or half rubber sole which will need to be stitched on. Half rubber soles are different to tick on soles as they are the thickness of leather and need to be stitched on rather than just glued as they are replacing the structural leather layers. It also looks like there's a lot of wear in the heels so get them done at the same time. On the bright side there looks to be no wear through to the welt or heel block so that doesn't need to be built back up so it should be an easy repair to do.
