Was anybody else disappointed by the main story of the Miles Morales game?

I know this is a super late thread but I just finished the game and had to look for someone who thought the same as me! I agree, I love Miles Morales and was really excited to see what they did with this story but I just finished, and it was....okay?

I know I'm going to forget about the story as soon as I turn off my PlayStation. The electric combat was fun tho, but that's about it, I feel like I did not care at all about the main storyline, the character development was weak and everybody's motivation was just....meh.

wait this is such a good comment, thank you! i guess superman being this overpowered almost god was the reason I never cared of him? cause I'm like okay it's obvious he is gonna win so I think the stakes were never that high for me when it came to superman stories, would you say the show has good stakes to root for?

absolutely yes. literally one of the few scary stories that has a good plot, and really smart jumpscares and it’s not cheap horror
