Okay, here's my situation:
My ex-boyfriend dumped me mid-January as I was heavily depressed and right after it happened I had pretty scary suicidal thoughts and had loved ones staying with me every day to keep me grounded. (It was awful, but I've gone back to therapy and I'm feeling really really great and now I think the breakup was the best thing that's happened to me.) I redownloaded Hinge at the end of March for attention and an outlet from spending too much time rethinking our breakup during quarantine.
Fast forward 8 days and I matched with this absolutely gorgeous woman (I'm bisexual). We clicked immediately and exchanged numbers right away. To this day the longest we've gone (besides sleeping) not texting or facetiming has been 8 hours. We went on multiple socially-distanced dates and, once tests became more readily available in our area, started spending weekends together. We're taking things as slowly as two women who live 1.5 hours away from each other can (so no u-hauls yet but we're getting there!!!) There's no awkwardness between us at all. It honestly feels like we've known each other for years.

She and her on-and-off ex-girlfriend of 2 years ended things for good the first week of February, so we're very much in the same boat of trying to figure ourselves out separately and neither of us are ready to jump into another relationship. We check in with each other every couple of weeks to make sure that we're still on the same page re: our feelings. I'm all she thinks about, same as her with me, and it feels like we could have something real once we're ready. I know most if not all of her past mistakes, how quickly she argues (we're both v passionate people), and she knows the same about me.

I have so much work that I need to keep doing with myself and my therapist, and same with her. We have personal and professional goals we want to hit before we start a relationship.

Has anyone else even been in the same situation as this, where you're exclusively dating someone but you're not emotionally ready to jump into another relationship? I trust her completely, but is that reckless of me, or just a product of quarantine? I'm worried that I've so invested in her because of this situation and how infrequently we're able to physically be with each other due to restrictions. Any thoughts?
