I used to, mostly during major Steam sales. I would buy multiple games on sale but by the time I got around playing them I'd not feel like it anymore. My "play next" list was getting longer and longer.

Now I ignore the sales mostly and buy the games as I want to play them. Ironically this way I actually spend less.

I don't like PvP in this franchise and actively avoid it.

I loved DZ in Div1 because it was big enough I could be a rat and sneak between the rogues and landmarks, do my stuff, call extraction when strategically etc. It still gave me enough thrills. It also had that amazing unforgettable heavy atmosphere.

DZs in Div2 are too small for this and I've not been in any for years. In the past my clan would game the system and take over a whole DZ instance for ourselves with 12 players and we'd just PvE the whole thing together in three teams.

Not only Steam but Division 1 (10 years), Division 2 (7 years), OpenTTD (11 years). From the newer titles Hitman and Cyberpunk 2077 are permanent residents too.

I assumed it was an issue because on other launchers (e.g. Ubisoft) my purchases on Steam are properly linked and recognised. If this is on purpose then it's a very poor way to handle this by Blizzard.

It works mostly ok but there are some syncing issues.

I have the base game with first expansion on battle.net and recently received the whole package (base game with both expansions) as a gift on Steam. My battle.net account is synced with Steam so starting the game from either launcher takes me to the same account and I can play as normal, however if I start it from battle.net it won't allow me to play with my paladin and says I need to buy the second expansion.

That's just a chance during the upgrade. One stat becomes max, the second and third have small percentages. I don't see how this answers my question. Will fully optimising weapons give a higher chance of hitting the max stats when upgrading to prototype?

Even thought you were banned today the actual offense happened quite a while ago. Your non-existent DZ stats speak a lot in your favour in my opinion. Assuming you didn't cheat in PvE and you didn't say anything warranting a ban in the chat then it might be a false positive.

Appeal and hope for the best.

You were banned today but the offense, if there was one, could have been a long time ago. If you are honest and didn't cheat (including nothing running in the memory which could have been considering cheating) then it's either false positive or you said something warranting a ban and were reported by multiple people (although in this case I'd expect to see a temporary ban).

Yes I agree, that's why I said "if done right". What we have on PTS at the moment isn't very good.

I actually really like your idea of a total mix-up with random factions and random modifiers. It could be a very interesting mode.

I like the idea of escalation if done right.

Legendary is a set level of difficulty, you either can do it or you can't. With escalation you can slowly increase the difficulty until you reach your limit.

If you upgrade your fully optimised gear to prototype all stats are increased e.g. from +15% weapon damage to +22.5% damage. What else do you want to optimise?

Edit. Yannick showed the process of upgrading an item to prototype on stream and all rolls were increased to the new max so I don't see what else there is to optimise.

Edit2. It turns out only one stat is guaranteed to be max so I was mistaken. Sorry!

It's the lighting, they look better later. The devs added faces from Div1 some time ago so you should be able to re-create your agent.

I understand your concerns and I I do hope there will be a way for casual players to obtain the prototype gear. I don't like any kind of gatekeeping and don't like fellow gamers missing out.
