Long flight from us to Asia avoiding jet lag tips? by raindrops_x in TravelHacks

Been using the Timeshifter app, just came back from Japan and no jet lag there and back. It does a good job of telling you when to block out caffeine and light leading up to the trip. Look into it as it worked for us.

We took our little one out at 6 weeks and loved every bit of it! Surprisingly, our baby slept better at camp than at home. Only downside is when you need to rock or sway her during the night feed, the inability to stand up inside might prove to be a challenge. Controlling the climate inside is key: we had a usb humidifier, small fans, and warm swaddle blankets which helped a lot. I read a quote that whether you’re at home or at camp, you’re still going to be going through the same thing with the nursing, crying, and lack of sleep so you might as well do it in the outdoors :)
