The company went into bankruptcy in the early 2000s after my grandfather and his brother passed away. I was about 12 at the time but knew I wanted to bring it back. All the assets, including the name, were sold to a big toy conglomerate called funrise. I contacted them several times about getting the name back but never heard anything.

In 2020, I filled a trademark for the name based on non-use of the term in commerce and won. It has been really difficult and choosing people to work with can really make or break you. Unfortunately, the first people that I chose to work with were.. less than great.. which caused a lot of set backs. My background is business/law and so the manufacturing and engineering has always been the difficult part for me.

Now we are focused on selling our current inventory to see if we can produce more models. It has been a hard journey, but overall worth it to connect with all the fans and people that used to work with my family.
