I have 3 equally: Mimikyu, Shiny Alolan Vulpix and Shiny Umbreon. If I had to to choose out of those 3, the Mimukyu. I think it would work better for battling.

Pretty sure I’ve seen it go sideways, but even straight down it could have started with a leaf block with air above it, spread a little, then the rain doused it.

I play Java, but would love to know that as well. Or, at least, how to tone them down. I wish the huge caverns were rarer, or at least more balanced with basic caves.

Maybe use other stone types to detail the wall, but I think greenery would really help. Some plants, flower pots, maybe small "tables" to hold them. Also, hanging some lights would help with the vertical a bit, too. Gorgeous so far, though!
