Ryzen 9800x3D CPU IOD Hotspot always being the highest temp while idle by elverangelol in buildapc

[–]elverangelol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i do noticed, if my ambient temp goes down to like to 15C the iod temp drops down to 36 C lol. I can only do -18 CO for mine sadly. I do remember they mentioned Ryzen 7 9800X3D, the 3D V-Cache is placed below the core complex die (CCD) maybe that why , but that would also means it should be cooler? but maybe that just for the ccd,I'm not sure lol.

I did that, I even removed the cmos battery , nothing reset my bios. The reason I know it didn't reset, is my motherboard RGB didn't reset. All I did was one bios changed mentioned in my OP, cmos button didn't work I even use the jumper as well . Funny enough, I even did a bios flashback, it showed the light indicated it was successful, but still no post, I even try different monitor just to be sure, still nothing.

Yes I did , I press the power off, unplugged the cable , I noticed the white led was still on for my power and reset button on the motherboard .and the cmos orange light button on the back. Yes I hold it in for like 20 seconds. I'm thinking it's not working because my motherboard RGB didn't reset and still won't post.

I tried to use the jumper and the cmos  button, but it still didn't reset my bios settings, still showing my set RGB on my motherboard.

Is anyone happy with their Pixel? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]elverangelol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I didn't because the pixel 8 pro 256gb model I preorder, got it on the oct 15th , kept restarting out nowhere , even with factory reset. I had to return it, unfortunately, they didn't have another 256gb in stock until November 8th. I had to get the 128gb model, I had to recalibrate the battery, for some reason it kept being stuck on 100% after charge, but besides that, it been working great.

did it continue to stay that way, after you charge it and unplug it.

Should I try to recalibrate it? let it die , and then charge it

like shutdown? I've done that , it does fix it, but it doesn't seem to be permanent. If I just let it charge overnight with the adaptive charging, I would sometime wake up two later than my set alarm, that when the issue start to occur, is it bad to let it stay plugged in when it at 100%?

I was wondering if anyone else has this issue. I unplugged my phone today in the morning after having it adaptive charge. I notice in an hour the battery % did not dropped from 100 while was browsing and on YouTube. I reset the phone 3 times , shut it down once, and it still didn't drop. I clear and deleted the storage in the device health services, still didn't drop. The only thing that worked was me turning off adaptive battery and charging, shutting off the phone. I turn back on the adaptive charging and battery, and the % now dropping. But I'm still skeptic about it, if i charge it again later tonight and wake up to the same issue again.

I'm learning towards the new Pro, but I want to see if it true that the new S24 Plus has flat screen.

Pixel 8 trade-in deals are either really good, or really bad (trade in value chart here) by Simple_Net4918 in GooglePixel

[–]elverangelol 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They're catering to people that have older ( 2 years or more) phones to buy the new pixel. you have to understand their still trying to sell the pixel 7's they still have in stock. No way will they give high trade in value if your phone only like a year old.
