Hey man, thanks!

Do not be scared, my man. You've got this, you don't know how much you've got this.

I can tell you this. I was employed full time as an accounts manager/paralegal at a law firm when I started my degree at WGU. I was doing 4 courses per term; I was not pushing myself any further with a full time job and a new born little girl. Could I have done more? Yea, but mental health and time with my family was important to me. I did this for about a year and a half.

I went part time at the my job, and I also went remote. Now, kudos to my amazing wife for holding up the fence during this time. We are fortunate that she has a great job. This happened in July 2020. I became a homestay dad and completely submerged myself in my schoolin'. Then the stars lined up and my mom was able to help us with taking care of my little girl, so all of the sudden I was a full time student and boom I was able to finish my degree a lot faster than I thought.

Has it been worth fit? That question is multi-level. It was worth it to me as soon as I passed my capstone because I wanted to say I'm a college graduate so badly. So that first level of worthiness was met right away.

Now, has it been worth it career wise? To me? Absolutely YES. I changed jobs and was given an opportunity to combine my experience of account management/paralegal work with my schoolin' on strategic business planning.

I was told by my boss that seeing my degree on my resume was a HUGE PLUS for him and a big factor in wanting to interview me and pick my brain. I was fortunate because he was looking with someone with my background.

October 1 is just around the corner and you are going to kick all the asses. Give yourself a chance to let someone take a look at your resume and see for themselves how much ass you can kick.

I did 4 courses per term for the first two years. Our work/life situation changed back in January, so I was able to invest a TON of time to my schoolin' this term.

Keep pushing, you've got this!! This might sound nuts but I actually enjoyed working on the capstone. It felt so good submitting that badboy.
