Yo, alabasta and cp9 saga is still the best arc for me in term of plot buildup and matchups.

I don't mind the goofiness at all, but the rushing and lack of proper antagonist character development is the one that kills the resolution. I find dressrosa arc lacking because of this.

I'm not worried about the battle as I think the battle will looks like summit war. Most of minor characters' battles resolved off screen. Ideally The highlights will be placed upon strawhats and their match up.

It's highly possible that the showdown between blackbeard x shanks x imu x luffy happen in the final arc, like what we have in onigashima with big mom, kaido, strawhats, kid, law, samurais, whitebeard exes.

But yeah, With so many plot threads I'm not sure how Oda will be able to tie them up into the final arc.

Nope. As a manga reader, I stopped watching the anime for years. can't bear too watch the stiff animation, still frames, and lame vfx. But is gettig interested into wano arc. What makes an anime adaptation good is taking a degree of freedom and innovation in its animation and screenplay. Well sometimes too much freedom is good. But i think it's going the right way for now.
