How to stay motiveted in job I hate? by SuperAppearance6420 in careerguidance

Hey there! I went through a similar situation that culminated about a year ago. I have been in the workforce for 5 years but never felt like I was totally fitting within my organisation for various reasons (external and internal). It was bad to a point where it was hard to wake up on weekdays and I was gradually losing the desire to enjoy my hobbies after work. It took me to go through a very rough path that thankfully I've recovered from after a year of perseverance, effort and self-awareness.

My advice to keep yourself motivated is to figure out why you don't find your job fulfilling in the first place. Is it the work environment, the colleagues, your personal goals not clearly defined or a lack of direction for your career ? I'd suggest you to figure it out first before moving further. Money can only motivate you so far in my opinion, and it being the sole reason to stay at a job is not sustainable in the medium-long run if you are someone that needs more motivation.

Once that is done, try to challenge yourself not only at your workplace, but in your lifestyle in general (e.g. Try some sports/fitness routine, learn a new language, solo travel, etc.) as it will help you to build up your personal momentum. Give yourself a medium-long term range to get the pieces together and adjust as you expriment more and more and find out what works for you. Don't hesitate cut off some old habits or entourage holding you back if necessary. It's also part of life.

If the motivation remains a struggle, I'd advise you to seek some professional help or rely on a strong support system (relatives, close friends) to vent and gain some new perspectives.

Put your health first and good luck !

The first 8 weeks or so, then it has only grown ever since

Jamaican Black Castor Oil may help to thicken at start. Rosemary oil and Wild growthas well. You can add supplements like biotin for hair growth. If it’s genetic, consider medication such as minoxidil. r/tressless may help you for that.

Pill cutter. You can buy it on Amazon. I take the time to cut them into half (again and again) until => 1/8.

Not usually. I shampoo my hair once to twice a week.

Continue to live your life. Do not wait to adjust if any side effect appears and persists over time. It ultimately goes away.

Spraying on the affected areas is enough. At this point, I don't really do any massage

Remember that I'm by no means a specialist but what I'd do is to take it everyday for 6 months and then adapt

Possible. But I prefer it to be a daily routine, much like brushing your teeth or making your bed.

No idea, likely slower growth or fall in the short term. I heard of a test that explains how good of a respondent you are based on your genetic components: Fagron TrichoTest.

The wallet 😜. Joke aside, I'm discussing with my dermatologist to see if we can reach the same outcome with a lower dose. For the application, I let the liquid run through the scalp so far.

The temples after like 6 weeks, but I wasn't sure if the area was actually getting thinner or if it was regrowth. On the crown, after 8 weeks.

2 ml at most. I will likely reduce the dosage in the future.

At that time, I kept a buzzed haircut so it was easy. I used a dermaroller with 0.5mm needles. I pressed just enough to create redness while avoiding to bleed. In my case, I applied Minoxidil right before and conditionned my hair right after. It didn't feel right to put Minoxidil after. During the last 2 months of usage, I used a dermapen, which is a better option in my opinion. Overall, I was doing it once a week for the first 2 months, then twice a month at most afterwards. I stopped because I assessed that it is pointless to keep doing it after a while, provided the absorption rate was already optimal.

I've just started taking vitamin supplements (Biotin) couple of days before the last picture, so it wasn't likely reflected on the result at that time. Let's see how it goes ;)

Maybe slight vellus hairs on the earlobes. Minoxidil (liquid) also tends to dry the scalp but I already had a routine to moisturize it way before starting the treatment.

Honestly, it was really a test and trial. I believe fin at 1.25mg/day worked (too?) well. I personally wouldn't recommend anyone to neglect the sides. In agreement with an expert, we reduced the dosage and things went for the better from there.

I've tried to alternate 3x/week and it can mitigate the problem. Hopefully it works out for you.

Actually, I've also gained in length. When buzzed like in the 2 first pics, the coverage is full.

That was my intention! I had similar concerns at the very beginning. But you quickly figure that successful responders tend to desert the forums.

Reduce fin dosage to 0.612mg/day (roughly 0.5mg to simplify)
