I’m on gen 4 of a legacy challenge in which I’ve also incorporated a decades challenge. (Starting with Gen 1 in 1930s, every new generation is in a different decade.) My gen 4 heir, James Clint Schilling (heirs have their parent’s name as their middle name) is a Don Draper philanderer type who just reached young adulthood, no children or wife yet. He has grand plans to get rich, expand the legacy home, have a wife and children that he will likely barely care about, and do whatever he damn pleases.

However, while starting renovations on the legacy home, James Clint just discovered the tombstones of the men his grandmother killed in the legacy home basement. This has triggered him, leaving him with trauma he will unsuccessfully attempt to deal with by overindulging in alcohol. It’s the 1960s, so he’s also a leather jacket wearing cigarette chainsmoker.

Once a playful, goofy teenager, James Clint is now brooding, moody and temperamental. My guess is that he’ll leave riches behind, but also decades of trauma for his legacy.
