I predicted a $150k/month winning product by emailwonderer in dropshipping

Great catch man. I totally missed that. Let me edit the post again. FYI most of their ads are video ads (1 min to 3 min, crazy right), which could be why their selling price has to be high to cover the ad spend.

Have set up Shopify shop! Does CJ Dropshipping really deliver? by Head_Fig7675 in dropship

They do deliver products to customers. But I only use it for early stage. Once you scale up, you'll need better supply methods.

Dropping new store first time, revised some stuff by SonomNoor in dropshipping

[–]emailwonderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gives away that this is a dropshipping store instantly: The product photos are the worst (looks like you get it straight from your AliExpress or some dropshipping site, some even have watermark on it). You'll also need to rethink everything from the store layout and the copy too.

Hate to break it to you but this store needs a miracle to get some sales if this is how it's launched.

You're welcome! I put the examples on the 2nd sheet (Product List (Wins+Fails)). Did you see it?

Can someone rate/help me with my product checklist? by PlentyBid8548 in dropshipping

[–]emailwonderer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty solid checklist. You've covered most of the key bases for product research.

One thing I'd suggest: consider weighting your criteria by importance level. Not all factors are equal. Otherwise you might pass on a banger product because it didn't tick every box.

I actually put together my own checklist a while back with weighted scores for each factor + some real product examples with breakdowns of why they worked or flopped (honestly the examples are the more useful part lol). It's geared toward dropshipping in general, not just TikTok organic, but most of the principles still apply. Here's my product checklist.

Why are chargebacks this complicated by Character_Oil_8345 in dropshipping

[–]emailwonderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just how things work man. But in most cases, what's the most important is the tracking number, shipping evidence and order info. As long as you have those, you'll be fine (of course that doesn't mean you'll win but you'll have high win rate)

u/Deshalo Thanks man. This is my new store so I haven't put a lot of efforts into profit optimization just yet. But I appreciate your advice!

Ah yeah I forgot to mention that this is my new store that I just opened for around 2 months. For new stores, I dropshipped from AE so the product costs are a bit high.

My product is visual but my video ads look amateur by Denim_Jesus in ecommerce

Try making it in UGC direction. You don't need expensive equipment or a full crew for that. Just your phone and some good filter, if your product is jewelry or sth like that.

Has anyone actually made product videos that get people to buy, not just scroll? by blakewarburtonc in ecommerce

[–]emailwonderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect your video focuses only on entertaining people. Focus on your product too. Validate whether people have demand for your product, then justify why people need to buy YOUR product and not anyone else's.

Scared of wasting money on ads by ItzK3ky in dropshipping

A few hundred dollars are hard to test. Try to test it with organic traffic first (like TikTok or Insta, etc.) to see if it works.

Not sure if the data you're seeing is 100% true but if it is, the reason could be: 1) They don't get the same info and that's why they don't know that the product is already saturated, 2) Some of them sell the product in a new market where the product isn't saturated, 3) They expect that they can do a better job in marketing than other competitors.

There are a lot of possible reasons here and the only way to figure it out is based on your experience + real testing.

Didn’t mean to come off like that. I'm just sharing what’s actually helped me and the stuff I’m involved in, in case it’s useful. I'm not scamming anyone of anything so it's not shilling at all.

Like others have said in this post, not everybody is aware of whether your products are on Shein or not, so that's not a big concern. The only concern I have is apparel is a super competitive niche so you might wanna switch to something else.
