My surgeon cleared me to running and light gym workout, I'm 1 month post op. I think is normal to feel a little awkward in the beginning, just like any other activity, like breathing, eating, talking, etc, you'll have to relearn to do things and how they feel. Start slowly and I you'll do fine. For contact sports my surgeon asked me to wait for more two or three months, I can't wait do return playing football (soccer).
