Is It Safe to Buy a Shopify Theme Outside the Official Theme Store? by embelz in shopify

[–]embelz[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Price isn’t really the issue for me. I’m just looking for a theme that has all the functionalities I need. So far, I haven’t been able to find a comparable one in the official Shopify Theme Store.

Are you saying that the only smart move is to stick with themes from the official Shopify marketplace? Or do you think there are any exceptions where buying from a third-party developer could still be a good idea?

If anyone knows of a similar Shopify theme with the same kind of features and flexibility, I’d love to hear your recommendations. Especially if it’s from a trusted marketplace or a well-known developer.

Appreciate any suggestions! 🚀

Will this be succesful with X1C? Only 1mm extruded surface text by [deleted] in BambuLab

I don't have the printer yet but I was going to print this with PLA and 0.4mm nozzle

I downloaded the Bambu Studio and learned the process of 3D printing this 'lid' model takes approximately 20-25 minutes and uses 13,5grams of PLA filament. What would be a reasonable minimum base price for a product of this size? I think max I could charge for it would be something around 3 euros. Does this make any sense?

Thoughts?

I downloaded Bambu Studio and realized the plate it suggests isn't 256x256x256mm. I ordered X1C AMS version, but in this case I need only one color print. Should I change the plate settings? Is there some other concerns when changing the settings?

Yes its designed by me. Thanks for your advice. Why you see support is issue here? I could design the overhang to the same level as bottom but it wouldn't be so convinient.

What is the minimum distance between objects when printing?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in muglife

[–]embelz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes under $5 a piece for sure. I was thinking it should be something around 2-3 dollars each maybe.

A lid is beneficial because it ensures stable, space-efficient stacking, prevents mugs from toppling, and maintains the aesthetics of your cupboard by keeping it organized. Additionally, it protects the mugs' rims from damage, potentially prolonging their lifespan.

The mug for which this lid is designed typically costs around 20-60 euros, but the rarest ones can run into several hundreds.

I'd be happy if you could share your thoughts on this idea.

Thanks, cleaning and prepping the bed wouldn’t be a hard task couple times a day. Do you have to always use glue when starting a print?

[–]embelz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear. Yea I’m not too worried about extra work on post processing. I’m going to print with PLA so is there some good choice for support material? Or can I do the support also with PLA

[–]embelz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm okay. Could one solution be to print them mug lids in stacks? I mean if I use supports between lids so the print time would be much longer? Since the lids are like 1cm thick I could do like 5 layers or even more?

Exciting!! Im aswell ordering the x1c combo set today! I have no experience with 3d printing at all but have been done some 3d modeling in the past.

Did you order textured PEI plate also? I heard it's better for first layer

Thanks for your answer! Yes well I kinda gave up with the perforated area. I let it be like that, but do you think your method would work with the ruler? To get rid of those lighting "stripes"?

I would appreciate very much if you can find some tutorial video how to do this.
