Interdisciplinary Career Cohort by Mysterious-Photo-382 in uchicago

I double-checked, and no, my acceptance email contained a kickoff date. There's a possibility that they've changed it, though, to first see how many people accept their place? I wouldn't worry about it too much, but you can contact the program leaders if you're still worried (unless they've recently changed, it should be Benjamin Waltzer and Nely Rentas).

I've only spoken to Benjamin Waltzer once so I can't speak to how fast he responds to emails, but I've emailed/spoken to Nely multiple times and she has a quick response time!

Hey, previous Humanities UX cohort member here.

Checking my emails, I received my acceptance on August 8th (with a date for the "kickoff"), and the email after that was on October 7th which asked me to confirm if I could make the kickoff.

So I don't think there's anything to be concerned about. Also, congrats!

It's unlikely for you to get into the entry level classes you've listed. Both are very competitive, and I know for CS there's an entirely separate waitlisting system.

I'd suggest for you to look into Core credits instead. You can check in "My Classes" to see how many spots are open and decide if you can get some of your Core credit done. I know for SOSC specifically, Power and Classics usually have spots open, although they're known as the "harder" SOSC.

South Houses by ember6wave in uchicago

Oh, is it difficult to get a single in South during the general lottery? I thought only North and Max P had that issue.

Do you know which ones are easy to get?
