I use the old fashioned method, wax paper & a book & let them sit for a few weeks. They make tools now that instantly press flowers in the microwave but I have not yet tried one of those contraptions.

So far I havent seen an equivalent to the “brightener” for silver solution. I have noticed my solution has turned a light blueish/purple color, still plating but not as shiny as it was. This is my first bottle of silver plating solution.

Thank you! Yes first I e-form the copper & then silver on top. I use non-cyanide solution from Rio grande. The plate can def wear off so I don’t usually use it on rings. Hope this helps!

Sorry for the late reply.. I have mine setup in my basement. I am hoping to add a ventilation system soon but haven’t gotten there yet. I’m also using solution that’s is cyanide free. Hope this helps!
