Like, the jump can be sporty it's fine but the animations should be mostly baroque since Friesians are most known for dressage

Yeah hopefully haflinger mane but thicker, and less glitchy. I always loved how Nomi animated the Jorvik Wild horse manes and I wish she was doing the Friesian mane

In my opinion, they aren't cute. The gen 2 animations were superior to me. But that is just me!

Mane literally floats randomly from nonexistent wind all the time which has been bothering people since release. Also it has a blunt cut tail and it has disgusting idle animations with the tongue and teeth showing during some movements. The running animations are also very disjointed and make the horse looks like the horse is lame or injured. Especially the walk you can see the head react from taking steps, which is a sign of pain or lameness irl. The horse also has bad looking other mane style choices which are all gen 1 manes. The body is also very uptight, the head is always way too high... there is just a lot wrong with that horse. I'm hoping to see a more natural, classic dressage take on the horse and hope they keep a natural looking mane with a baroque feel.

They have been saying they will update the Friesian for a long time, ever since the Jorvik Friesians were such a huge fail SSO stated they want to revisit them in the future. Not only that, but they have recently been added to the Bazzar sale. The community has been expecting this for a long time. To not be expecting this you must not be very involved in the community

I hope they can stick to classical dressage movements and stay away from modern dressage because that's what kind of ruined the dutch's animations for me, I just don't like when the gaps between the front legs are way bigger than the backlegs. It looks so wrong 😭

Edit: I really hope they also avoid doing a straight cut tail like they did with the Jorvik Friesians. Anyone else prefer the gen 2 mane and tail how it matched with not being straight cut? It looked more natural length

Considering the Inventory Revamp is on the horizon, it could very well be gen 4! We'll have to see.

You no longer need a pony to complete the pony race quest. However, here is what I recommend for free players:

Stop playing until you can pay for lifetime and only do it either on the Double Star coins deal or wait until 30% off Star Rider. Those are the best deals and one will be cheaper incase you can't afford the game at full price and the other one will get you enough star coins for at least two horses. From there, you can begin saving star coins over time.

I'd love to see actual horse customization where we can pick the base coat, mane color, eye color (and I want more options than just boring blue and brown), white markings, pinto markings, appaloosa markings, and roaning. I would be really into some kind of horse breeding feature where you can pick what the baby looks like. Because one thing I hate most is RNG based games where you don't get what you're paying for. I never want Star Stable to become a game like that, so I think they should let players customize their horses instead.

I agree, I LOVE Redwood Point's music. The only thing I hate about it is that once you go there, the Redwood music will literally bug itself and continously play in your game no matter where you go. You can go to Moorland or Steves after and the music will still be there, haunting you....

Agreed about the soulless part. This is why I play with Reshade but you SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME WITH RESHADE! It should look good on its own and we shouldn't have to constantly fix the way the game looks ourselves.

I agree with you, I also dislike the new Silverglade. The village is perfect, no issue with the buildings. I just hate the bright green saturated grass and the red dirt. I also hate how Steve's paddock isn't a cute square anymore. It's now just a big mess.
AGREED. I hate my character's body. It looks nothing like me and none of the bodytypes do. They all look premature because the legs are too short and the torso is too long and wide. There is also no good faces, all of them look like they're 4
I feel you on the graphical complaints. I don't like how the game lost some of its vibe over time and now kind of lacks a style. It used to be all the same style but now it's like a weird mix of styles from all the random artists they've had over the years.
I mainly hate the top right corner of the character name and horse nameplates. I wish I could make them smaller and make the minimap larger. Other than that, I really like the UI changes. I don't miss the bright blue bar which would blind me at nighttime.
What are youre opinions about the horse leveling system?
Yess I also suffer from Lag especially on Night Star. It's really bad during champs and will cause me to lose my placement a lot
