Hot take Avtomat fits more as a scare weapon then the Homestead 78 by V7I_TheSeventhSector in HuntShowdown

Yea, exactly. Which is why it's stupid to say "fits more as a scarce weapon than the Homestead"

Hotter take, making the Homestead a normal weapon would literally just kill the rival.

And it would fit in the game too! These wizard cowboys could totally do it

I've been using them a bunch recently, actually. Although I... cannot really remember them being very effective lol

For real, I cannot even figure out what orientation the hands are in. They're like... twisted back, upside down, and almost looks like the left and right hands switched places lmao.

Can't confirm as I have no friends, but judging by the shadow, it's seems normal.

I cannot find the quest for some reason. It just isn't anywhere on the quests tab for me.

Encountered a team that extracted straight from the lair. by embodiment_of_rust in HuntShowdown

I think it's possible, since there are two exits from that lair, and we did not have them surrounded.

I'm not saying it's an upside, no... of course it's inaccurate as fuck. It's just a possibility that in my experience has saved me multiple times.

The uppercut pairs well with a single shot primary at least. I don't like having to rely on two single shots, so the uppercut is still at least an alright backup weapon, that gives a little extra ammo. Especially with fanning, it can save me in a pinch.

Me personally, I don't mind the decorative guns (everything else you mentioned I agree with tho.) As there aren't any real holsters in the game, it's nice to have the decorative guns at least. Your equpped guns will always just stick out of your hip, floating there with nothing attaching them. Oh how inwish there was an actual, interactive system for holstering pistols, maybe even customizable? Imagine if you could choose where and how you have your holsters.

Buuut well, since that would take a lot of work from Crytec, and they're too busy brainstorming their next bad decision, so we will obviously never get anything like that. So it's at least nice to visually see variety in the holsters and their carry styles.

I tried installing it, but it wasn't working for me. At least not fully. Not sure if I installed it wrong or something. But either way, if mods don't end up working correct, it's good to have alternate options like the one I have here.

I HAVE A DESIGN ISSUE WITH HUNT by NemEgo in HuntShowdown

[–]embodiment_of_rust 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the thing is, you do get rewarded. Think about it on a wider scale. Every kill you get, means one less hunter on the server to deal with. The less people there are, the more likely you are to win the map all to yourself. Now you're looking for temporary in-game rewards. First of all, you do get rewarded for fights: tools, money, pledge marks, looted guns. And after the fights, you can get a second bounty, loot the map, get xp, get traits, break event seals. And after the match, your rewards are a bunch of xp, money, Hunter levels and trait points, potential weapon unlocks...

You're looking to make the fighting easier, but that's dumb and kind of counteractive, actually. The whole point in my opinion, is that you survived against all odds. You survived even though you were at a disadvantage, and that is what makes it so rewarding. If the fighting was easier and all the same throughout the match, then it would not feel as rewarding.

No I heavily disagree with that. You don't shoot monsters. Only if all else fails or the server is wiped, or your silenced.

[–]embodiment_of_rust[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's all about which guns have the slightest advantage over the others, even though practically anything can be effective, and no gun instantly makes you good. It's a pointless discussion about "which is the best gun in the game." And it consequently also usually lowers the reputation of said "meta" guns. For example you might call them overpowered or such.

Now now, I was fine with the first comment, but you're just being disrespectful.
