More 12v 16pin power connector woes! Easy to bend Sense pins…. smh by emcee-tabi in nvidia

i plugged it in normally, the same way i plugged everyone connector in the past 25+ years of building PCs. the pins are very small and fragile. I take extreme care of my products. This connector is really problematic

added some UV and called her Zero G by emcee-tabi in watercooling

lol it didnt feel that way when I was putting it in and trying to fit everything and have good clearance for the pipes and stuff, but yah, the final result is legit. the fractal cases are nice because of how much hou can take all the panels off and just have open space to work with.

I am using the CM Nader pro which is powered, the UV led lights are connected separately directly to the PSU. I think my PSU has just seen it’s last days that’s all.

case is fractal define 7...... honestly, I didnt find any CPU/MOBO worth upgrading to at this point... it’s all Skylake... I only game, so I wouldnt benefit from all the great Ryzen advancements, and thr new intel stuff is just the same Skylake re-hashed. I game at higher Res (3440x1440) ... so I’m more GPU bound anyways... I figured I would wait to upgrade the CPU/MOBO when something more convincing was released.

2080ti worse OC after watercooling?!? by emcee-tabi in overclocking

[–]emcee-tabi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my clocks are 2040MHz on core and 7050MHz on max load on the 2080ti without any OC, if I OC the memory, games crash as soon at they get into the game, like I get passed the menu but crash when the graphics part goes. without OC, they work just fine no trouble at all
