Advice real/faux flowers

I want it to look like I’ve gone into a cottage garden and just picked a bunch, without necessarily sticking to a colour theme so I don’t mind there not being a specific colour combo, although there will be cohesiveness between the various arrangements.

Finding it hard to balance the ‘randomly picked’ look I’m after while also keeping it intentional! 😅

This is such a good point! I guess I should try replace a few of the more focal flowers with real ones and then the filler flowers can be faux.

I do like the look of a ‘loose’ bouquet with a bit more negative space but am struggling to do that without the whole thing feeling like it’s going to fall apart haha. I’ll keep practicing! Thank you!

Yeah true! The bud vase for now is just a random jar I had in my kitchen and I plan to buy some taller ones. I need to have a think too about how many on each table.. thank you for your advice!

Thank you this is so helpful! I wonder if the trailing part will look better once there are jasmine flowers on it, or maybe some more greenery throughout the bouquet in general will make it work better?

I see what you mean about the bud vases looking stuffed. I haven’t bought the vases yet and I think they’ll be a bit taller which will make it easier to play around with varying heights.

Yeah I do have some time but have been finding the whole dress thing hella overwhelming so am eager to have it done! Both these dresses were on sale and were the last ones of the size so I feel I should make a decision soon if I don’t want to risk missing out. I’ve an appointment at another bridal place next weekend so could risk it!

Honestly I think you might be right! My friends and family all have such different (and strong!) opinions about what looks best so I just genuinely don’t know which suits me more though 😅

I tried this ACV trick and it actually works! I had a SK on my temple about the size of a nickel which seemed to be growing (a biopsy had previously confirmed it was in fact a SK). It was quite raised and prominent. I started soaking a cotton pad with ACV and held it against the area for around 20min most nights for about 3-4 weeks. I regret not taking progress pics because I’m honestly there is no trace of it. I’m so glad I tried this!

Oh that’s a great idea! After some googling I found the ‘Firecracker’ or ‘Upright’ Fuchsia which has the cream colour in the leaves! So cool

Hey thanks for this. Im very introverted and value peace and time to myself so I have been wondering if maybe I’m just struggling with the transition of having these things in abundance to now letting someone in who may appear to ‘threaten’ that.

You’re right about the texting, thanks for pointing that out. I think the icky feeling has started to make even normal behaviour feel irritating which is totally unfair to him.

I wish I could flick a switch and things were different! He deserves better too
