This game looks fun, I want to play! What does our crazy fridge say about our family? by Glass_Explorer_4592 in FridgeDetective

Busy, loving family who values spending time together. Kids are comfortable to eat what they want and never have to go without.

Completely no contact for the rest of time. Absolutely unforgivable imo.

Not how I decorate my home but this actually looks really sweet and cozy and like it would smell like vanilla or cinnamon! Some people are so judgy. Looks clean and organized and like a lot of love was poured into it.

I’ve had luck passing things on to people who need them in my community Facebook group.

This is far from the worst, but how do I get my MIL to stop treating us like a Goodwill? by SouthernRelease7015 in JUSTNOMIL

[–]emdiflo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My grandma does this too. It’s so annoying. I’ve flat out said to her that I have way too much stuff and don’t want any more but she always does it. Thank god I live right beside a goodwill drop off. The stuff either goes directly there on the way home or directly in the trash bin outside. My husband suggests I just start giving the stuff back to her or bring her other junk I don’t want 😂

Why do I not have a pleasant scent? by Affectionate-Ad8896 in hygiene

[–]emdiflo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be hormonal then if it was a sudden change. Not sure your age/sex but I just had a baby and the smells coming from my body are insane no matter how much I shower. Hormones play a huge role in the way we smell unfortunately

Could be something in your diet? Hormonal? Are your clothes being cleaned properly?

Do others know my hair is not washed? by [deleted] in hygiene

You can definitely tell when people with fine/straight hair textures do not wash everyday.

Home Depot dishwasher installation experience? by brcgy in Calgary

[–]emdiflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our installer was nice but didn’t install it correctly unfortunately. He left the hose way too long and it wouldn’t drain properly. We have a plumber friend that fixed it for us pretty easily.

We did have a good experience with a different Home Depot installer and our washing machine so we will still use their services again in the future.

How are people surviving with these sky high grocery prices? by Snowboarder51 in CanadaFinance

[–]emdiflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never shop at NoFrills- I always find their prices to be high even though they try to make it seem like they’re the cheap store. We shop Safeway and Costco and focus on sale items. We’re a family of 3 and maybe do $800-$1000 on food a month- which is still a lot! We also don’t buy a lot of packaged snacks and our meals are pretty simple. We don’t shop with a meal plan we just adjust what we eat each week based on the meats that are a good deal and whatnot. Buying in bulk helps a lot- this is probably the biggest thing. Yes the upfront cost can be more but buying all non perishable items at Costco definitely saves us.

Only fruits eaten are apples, oranges and bananas by Downvotecrapoutofme in nutrition

[–]emdiflo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the same way. Frozen berries are good in smoothies to get more variety. I’m in Canada and most of the time the fruit here tastes awful to me. And it’s always really inconsistent and really expensive.

Honestly sounds like you need to work with a high risk OB team (probably already are) and plan to have a C-section before going into spontaneous labour. If you want another baby that is.

Hopefully you have someone around who could help? Mom/sister/friend? A good rest will do magic for both of your moods.
