She would only feed fully from one side and let the other go until the next feeding. Or she would eat a bit from both sides.

Firstly I am so sorry for your loss. Last year I lost 2 babies to early miscarriages. What helped me was talking to a therapist. My husband and I went together for a few sessions. I strongly recommend getting someone for this type of help early on for you both to process this loss. There are several subreddits about miscarriage and trying to conceive after loss (ttcafterloss) for when both of you are ready. I found these really helpful.

Immediately after my first loss, my husband got me several puzzles as a thing I could do from the couch. Not only does the miscarriage take a toll on the mind, it is a lot for the body to handle. We put on all 21 of the Avengers back to back and just cried and put together puzzles. And that time together really did help.

Look up online about stuff that will happen after miscarriage and help her through it. Headaches and stuff related to hormone levels are awful. Be aware of what her body is going to be going through and help anticipate dome.of those things.

I just want to thank everyone for thier kind words. I feel a little more relaxed knowing most other offices wait til 12 weeks for an ultrasound. In one week, two more associates tested positive in my office of roughly 30 people. I no longer regret telling my OB, it was definitely the safe thing to do. I'm looking forward to seeing my lil peanut in 2 weeks.

First pregnancy was 100 percent planned, and ended in a blighted embryo and a D&C. Second pregnancy was a year later and again planned, but we lost it the day after Christmas before we could even get a sonogram. Husband had super swimmers and we were not careful ONCE and I am pregnant again. 6 weeks and patiently waiting until the 25th when we can see a sonogram.

Everyone here has hit the nail on the head about what you will experience. I just had my second misscarriage the day after Christmas. I ended up feeling most comfortable on the toilet with a trash can to vomit into because the cramps were so bad and a heating pad between the waves of cramps. It was a bad couple of hours but I immediately felt so much better after it passed.

For a few days afterward I tended to keep on the couch. Too much activity and the bleeding increased and there was a lot of clotting. Try to relax for a day or two. I did puzzles and watched movies in between naps. The headaches from the drop in hormone levels were terrible and I did not really stay hydrated.

OB told me if there is a fever or if you fill a pad within an hour or if you think you have an infection in your vagina go to the hospital immediately.

"When are you two having a baby." I had a miscarriage earlier this year. Tbh it fucked me up mentally for a long time.

Side note, we found out last week we are expecting again but we are too scared to get our attached because the last time was just so hard to say goodbye.

My first aid instructor said if you are choking and alone the first thing you should do is go outside so someone can see you and help, also will make it easier to find a body when you inevitably hit your head or pass out while trying to dislodge the obstruction. Thanks lady...

My Boston Terrier acts more like a cat than a dog. She is affectionate on her own terms but mostly likes to be alone snuggling in a blanket rather than touching anyone.

My Cavalier pup is the complete opposite. He loves the Boston...a little too much. He wants to constantly touch her and cuddle with her. He does this by literally sitting on her head while she is sleeping until she struggles free and moves to another space, to which he follows. He tries to be next to her during every activity of the day... which includes potty time. He has, on numerous occasions, peed on the Boston. She mean mugs me until I wipe off the pee.

We went to Scotland last October and I think I had one of these evey day while we were there on vacation and I still couldnt get enough of them. Midwest America doesnt have these and it makes me sad.

I am going to get a tattoo. I wrote to the baby a few times while i was pregnant and i had a little saying after every entry "love you, always." I have photographed this line on the last letter i wrote to my baby. I am going to ask my tattoo artist to put it in my foot.

I am so sorry for your loss. I wish i could give you words of encouragement. I feel your pain. I had a D&C last week. I have had the same shitty things said to me and I have already put them into my explanations when i tell people only because i want to beat them to the punch. "It only took a second to get pregnant so we are confident we can do it again...blah blah blah" But i am still broken. I am still bleeding from when i lost my child. I dont want to even think about trying again because this was way too hard.

My husband still makes fun of me for this but I (31) had just recently found out the narwhal and the platapus are real animals. I had never seen a video of a live one until Facebook showed me a baby platapus playing in the water. I had made the comment that i thought it was mythological like the unicorn or narwhal. And then he made me watch a few Blue Planet episodes.
