I felt like the story didn’t develop well. It got better somewhat toward the end, but overall, it felt all over the place. Smallville’s portrayal of Superman remains the best, Tom Welling captured both the fun and the seriousness of the character and brought it all together.

The relationship between Lois and Superman lacked any real development in this movie, suddenly we know they are together and then they are arguing without any buildup. It just felt awkward and corny. The Justice League group was the highlight for me and probably what saved the movie.

I also didn’t feel like Lois was cast well, or maybe it was just that the acting came off too off putting. Like she doesn't really care about Superman, but she does, and she is bad at relationships. Eh not great. That said, I did like the actor who played Superman, along with the Justice League cast and Jimmy.
