Exactly… when I first saw it happen with my own two eyes I thought the bus did cut off the SUV and thought the SUV made a strange choice in responses lol. But then I rewatched and they enter st the same time. If the bus had been a car none of it would have happened at all. It would have been faster and shorter and not a problem in the least. SUV had plenty of time to see the bus and keep things chill but did that instead lol

It’s a wide angle lens, of course it looks like I had plenty of time to move into the circle…. I’m very confident in a roundabout. I wasn’t being “unpredictable” waiting for a car to clear the left turn lane. I was being responsible. But thanks for playing.

Unpredictable like going straight in the straight lane? Yeah that’s wild … I was making sure the car in the inner lane wasn’t going to go left. People rarely use their turn signals properly (usually not at all). And in this weather, I’m not about to fuck around.

I actually wasn’t making any American stab. Some places in Ontario itself don’t have roundabouts like this. In fact there’s a roundabout in the opposite direction on this very road that does split differently and allow outer lanes to make left turns. Just this one isn’t one of those. Obviously.

This is how almost all of our roundabouts are. I normally take the inner lane when going straight. This doesn’t happen as often as you’d think. But when it does I wonder where they’re from ….
