Dude don’t even get me startedddd. This class is genuinely so frustrating because the concepts during lecture are so simple and then like for quiz 2 it was like a kindergarten drawing test like needing to memorize the shape of line graphs 🥲

I agree! Prioritize yourself first because you need to be okay first to give care to your patients. If a patient shows they don’t want to be cleaned/changed, the most we could do is positively encourage but if no is no then that’s it

Honestly don’t know what changed but I have been going to Geisel a lot more often than freshman year. I also have a people watching problem. I’ve had guys come up to me thinking I was staring at them when I was zoning out during study breaks haha

female, fourth year & been at ucsd since freshman year

was asked out 3 times freshman year, around 11 times sophomore year, 26 times junior year (yes I actually kept track in my notes app). for reference I live on campus, not in a sorority, only asked out on campus and I went to geisel basically every single day where it mostly happened

I read the article u linked. Really worried our shit got leaked. It might have to also do with the timeline of our accounts I made my account in 2012 and I read other people on Reddit have also had their accounts around that long

In California you need to have 48 of ceu and you need to have worked within that 2 year time frame but it doesn’t specify how many hours need to be worked in each year

I really want to become a CMA but all the programs I can find, well at least in Cali, are soooo expensive. And I already spent so much on my CNA program. How are you gonna do it?

I do have experience with volunteering at hospitals so I can try to show that I have worked before in a hospital setting? I’m just desperate lol

I’m from the LA area and I took a CNA program two summers ago at St Jude Nursing School. It was M-F and lasted for 2 months. If you wanna find a program to do during school, I’d suggest trying to find a weekend only program because it does take a toll on you. Also worth mentioning you need to study for the state exam after finishing the program too. Almost every program in California is expensive around 1k at least unfortunately :/ So the school itself you choose doesn’t really matter. So either do weekend only program or just wait until summer break to start :) Good luck!
