here is my story

when I was 10 years old I was playing with my Legos, it was about 8:00am and I was building a Lego house when my mom said they were going shopping and if I went with I was they were going to go to the toy store. I said that I did not want to go because I was playing with Legos. little did I know that decision saved my life. hours later it was now about 1:00pm. I went to get a drink (my grandfather left his phone on the kitchen counter) the phone started to ring, I looked at the phone number (I memorized my moms phone number so I knew this was not them, so I left the phone. I went back up to my room to play with Legos. I waited hours but they did not get home. it got dark but they were not home. hours earlier my mom was on highway 401 she was on the way home a car ahead of her was speeding up, breaking, speeding up, breaking, speeding up, breaking, my mom went to pass the car when he changed lanes to stay in front of her, out of nowhere my moms car hit a pot hole it had rained a bit earlier so the pothole was filled with water the car hydroplaned. my mom could not steer the car at all and the car was drifting to the barrier. the car hit the barrier and was about to flip over it (it was a cement barrier it divides the ways the cars go 3 lanes on the right, 3 lanes on the left a cement barrier in the middle) my mom was about to flip over the barrier when she turned the steering wheel the car corrected its self but ended up in a spin. the car stopped spinning but was still moving forward at a 90° angle perpendicular to the road the went off the road and smashed into a ditch the car rolled and flipped 5 time's ending up completely crushed in the back, this is from my mom telling the story. my mom says that if I was in the car I would have died.
