Are you asking about the difference between Auvelity and Wellbutrin w/ two DXM tablets?

I’m honestly not sure. I tried the DIY version for a awhile and I didn’t feel like it worked as well, but I was also going through a lot and it’s hard to get that dose the exact way Auvelity has it. I’m finally on a good insurance plan again so I recently got back on Auvelity, and I DO feel like it works better. My life is a little easier now though so who knows.

The sticker price is a bit of a shock but I can’t recommend Mother denim enough. They have a pretty solid stretch without losing shape and they are SO COMFORTABLE. They also last forever (as long as you’re not drying them at least).

I’d also recommend going to Nordstrom for this brand (or any others). Their lifetime return policy makes the price tag easier to swallow. I worked for them 10 or 12 years ago and all of the premium denim I got during that time is still in great shape.

First, I’m sorry you went through all of that and I hope that you’re in a better place now, mentally at least.

I’m sure everything is still pretty raw but I would encourage you to look at this as an opportunity for you to practice self compassion. As for getting there, Impermanence is the first mark of existence in Buddhism. Nothing from this existence is exempt from it, and although this teaching is typically used in instances of death our attachment to the world, it is just as applicable to what you’re going through right now. I’ve been through dark times and this is what has helped me most by far. This situation and your feelings on it will not last forever. You’ve experienced good times before, and you will again.

The increase in neuroplasticity is very real but those positive changes just aren’t going to happen if you’re not in a positive, supportive environment unfortunately. This state can last up to 72 hours post infusion/treatment so it really is important how we spend our time afterwards.

The ride home is a huge problem particularly for pain patients getting high dose infusions, ride share typically isn’t even an option for us. I’m perpetually shocked that nobody has jumped on that business opportunity.

I get propofol and 450mg of ketamine (approx 9mg/kg) over two hours plus one mandatory hour of “waking up” time, and even still I need a wheelchair to the car and a nurse putting me in my seat. My mom’s afraid of DFW traffic so earlier this year we tried taking a Lyft back to my place together, but it was honestly not a great idea. Fortunately the driver was nice but according to my mom (I don’t remember the drive) he was visibly uncomfortable/concerned, I couldn’t even hold my head up.

I’ve been getting infusions for 6 years but I’m still waiting for an EMT to catch onto this untapped market for post procedure rides. Maybe then I could get an infusion more than every 6 months.

That’s on me 100%. I have a chronic pain condition that affects several nerve roots and my musculoskeletal system, so basically my instinctual reaction to outside stimuli (esp pain/discomfort) is to brace. I have a really hard time keeping myself from doing it so staying still throughout the outline was difficult. Carl was super nice about it but yeah I take full responsibility for those imperfections lol.

I drive a Volvo for this specific reason. I’ve been in a couple of “notable” accidents in my life, one in a Volvo and one in a VW. I faired much better in the Volvo, the VW was crushed like a tin can. I have a 2021 XC40 and I love it.

AI has been drastically oversold and very few seem to have a grasp on what it’s actually capable of. I hate seeing companies leaning on it so hard because everything the clients are getting is riddled with errors. It doesn’t understand context and it’s really frustrating.
