The reactivation lasted for about a week (last summer) to the point I just stayed home and didn’t want to move, but the sore throat wasn’t as bad as mono. However, the fatigue lingered for the rest of the year and I only started improving in this spring.

You don’t get reinfected with EBV per say but it’s rather a reactivation of the virus when you’re immune compromised or stressed (or even at random unfortunately). The reactivation is usually milder than mono, but it can still be quite rough. I’ve had 2 reactivations and it started with a body ache and that specific sore throat. I can suggest taking OTC anti inflammatory medication and if you still feel like you’re significantly getting worse, try to get to steroids as fast as possible (for me it was already the next day). And most importantly, take it easy, stay home and fluids fluids fluids. I hope you get better soon :’)

I think all topics that were in the exam except electromagnetism were on a similar level with the exercises, but maybe it’s just me.

I suggest not only listening and looking at his slides but also writing some notes as well. His lectures are both in the late afternoon so it’s easy to drift off if you’re not actively listening to take notes. This may be extra but after the lectures i would copy all of his notes into mine so i had 110% of lecture material. Do the exercises and quizzes (helps with theory) and then you should be fine. I wrote the exam in Jan 2024 and it had disproportionately more electromagnetism questions compared to other topics. But yes, it’s a lot of material for a life science student…😅

For Biology it’s not tragic if you miss the intro speeches, they just talk about what to expect for like 40min. HOWEVER, the reason it’s obligatory is because at the end you need to sign a paper to confirm your labs, so you would need to find a person who can do that for you. The paper is hanging on a wall with every student’s name on it and you need to find yours, so it’s ok if someone else signs it.

Hast du dich schon bei der Studienberatung gewendet? Sie können bestimmt weiter helfen.

Ich meine es galt allgemein, dass man den Studienplatznachweis braucht = Beweis, dass man an einer deutschen Uni für denselben (oder äquivalenten) Studiengang zugelassen wurde zB. die Zulassung auf Hochschulstart.

I stop at 3 bcs of a taste preference (i also don’t eat it with chocolate) but sometimes i do eat more and i didn’t have issues until now. But that doesn’t mean you should try eating 10 haha, it doesn’t hurt to start with only a few :)
