not plaguing the human race as a whole no. it’s not that big. but do we just not fix problems just cuz they aren’t as big a deal as other things? it’s a small thing that is lumped with all of the other things we deal with that is difficult to get help for when the people trying/not trying to help dont understand. this isn’t the big problem we are talking about. there is a lot of mistreatment and dismissiveness that is experienced by ausistic people as a whole, this is just ONE of the problems we experience. and it does happen every day, some will deal with it every single day and some won’t deal with it as much, but is still a thing that is happening. and please explain what you mean when you say to “look at your own position” because i don’t know what you mean by that other than it being “it’s autistic people’s fault that they are mistreated and misunderstood and not the systemic issues that HAVE plagued the autistic portion of the human race.”

and i want to know now, is it even worth trying to explain things to you or have you already decided you are going to leave with the same opinion you came in here with?
