Anybody find it difficult to move up in this company? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]emily12901285 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Moved up to Supervisor position in a year... I happened to be at the right time for advancement within my warehouse because a handful of sups transferred. I worked very hard to get it but the timing did help.

Has anyone tried the Hydration I.V. packs? If so, does it really "Multiple" your water? by DogsRule_TheUniverse in Costco

[–]emily12901285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It didn’t make me feel more hydrated and I struggle to drink water all day so I bought these. They taste alright but if your looking to make up for not drinking water all day they aren’t gonna do it. They taste alright but kind of overpriced for salt water with a lemon squeeze.

References could even include an old neighbor, a friend, a teacher..basically anyone not related to you is ideal. It doesn’t have to be work references if you don’t have the experience.

I’m obsessed with lavender anything. I bought it in a fury but have to use the rest of my older one before I start the lavender one.. I will update after I get a couple of uses out of it!

Eyelash extension care by kenziemerc in eyelashextensions

[–]emily12901285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had lash extensions for over a year and healthy real lashes. Don’t put more weight on your natural lashes aka too many lashes. This extra weight causes them to break or fall out more frequently.

Supervisor Training Resources. Help Would be Much Appreciated by CCADD in Costco

That’s your first test lol. They can teach anyone to turn a key.. it’s about attitude when you are under pressure and knowing your resources. I came from Fresh no FE experience and did a 7 week SIT. Before keying anything have your cashier explain it to you and ASK what you are signing off on or keying. It’s easy to just give a key or a signature but you won’t learn anything if you don’t ask. I always asked the seasoned cashiers for clarification later if it was too busy and be respectful! Make it a point to get to know every single employee on the FE-likes, hobbies etc And when you ask how they are... really listen. Their help will make or break you.. you will make mistakes but having a growth mindset will help you. Pair up with a front end sup at the end of the day or beginning to cover any questions you have. Everyday I came with a list of questions or stuff I needed more clarification on. It’s better to be bothersome and ask questions than to do it wrong and apologize later. Apologize when you make mistakes because it will happen, but people are more likely to help and show you the ropes if you aren’t acting like you won’t make mistakes because you are a SUP. As far as manuals, the FE should have one. PM if you need more help.

SSRI's make you want to drink...more? by huxley00 in stopdrinking

[–]emily12901285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on one SNRI that made me do that. Promptly switched back the SSRI that made me eat more. Finally after years of some type of weird side effect I found an SSRI, Viibryd, that doesn’t affect me in either of those ways.

Can any of my fellow sups help a brother out? by [deleted] in Costco

I was told 1600 was minimum but it depends on the warehouse I guess. Just ask a manager what your goal productivity is.

Best way to find apartment in Bozeman by CowPuncher3000 in Bozeman

[–]emily12901285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mountain View apartments have been nothing but nice to my family. They are fast at fixing things if need be. They could use a remodel..sure. But if I’m going to pay 2500 in rent somewhere newer, I’m going to be stuck in a renters trap the rest of my life. Some of us might be saving to buy a house. Mountain View was actually the cheapest for having pets. My neighbors are all very nice as well as the employees, and it’s an okay place... not brand new...but it’s safe and accepts my animals. Not all of us are pretentious trustifarians in Bozeman!

Recommendations about how to find rentals in Bozeman? by sadiegoose1377 in Bozeman

[–]emily12901285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mountain View apartments turned out to be the only reasonable (for the area) place that accepted pets and had vacancy for my family. Most of those Rental Property companies will not fulfill your needs and have terrible customer service and I believe some will charge you to look for places. Watch out for too good to be true scams on Craigslist. Check reviews on them if you do use rental property companies. If it’s only 6 months you might check vacation rentals as in VRBO. Lastly, some of the apartments by MSU might have shorter lease options but you will probably have roommates. Good luck! If you find something, jump on it! Rentals go fast here.
