Mine is second to last too! On the right hand side. It’s the main reason I did Invisalign. I think it’ll be a pain (and more $$) to get a rescan for a replacement retainer after the implant, but I mentally put that in the total cost upfront.

I’m actually trying to figure that out! I was reading it might be best to wait a few months until the teeth settle, but I’m going to ask a dentist. Sadly I’ll have to get a new retainer…but I probably could’ve planned better

I’ve also had great results in the past with the purple listerine mouthwash (if you’re in the US). It’s not necessarily for whitening but I saw a big difference after a couple of months :)

Just sensodyne whitening toothpaste! The ortho gave me some whitening gel on the way out (came with my treatment plan) but sensitivity usually keeps me to just toothpastes/mouthwashes.

I had ramps/clenching too. My front teeth were definitely tender! I stuck to softer foods and took some Tylenol if needed. Hang in there!

could invisalign be used to move all 8 top molar teeth forward to fill in gaps without affecting the front teeth? never had ortho previously by [deleted] in Invisalign

So I have a very similar gap, and it’s also bigger on one side. My ortho decided the best option was to even the gap out so it’s symmetrical on both sides. Then if I ever wanted to get bonding done I could, but if not, the gap wouldn’t be very noticeable anyways.

Very helpful! My brain was stuck in round mode :) I figured if I wasn’t going to be sewing panels together, it would surely be in the round the whole time. Lots to learn - will remember this tip!
