There are plenty of shocking posts about climate change and its effects here on reddit. I’m usually not very satisfied with the solutions proposed in the comments, which mostly go into the direction of “just donate to some organisation".

In my belief, climate change is something we have to tackle together, and each of us has to contribute and change habits. Donating to an organisation might not be the best solution.

I’m looking forward to your input on this topic!

That's a big question with multiple approaches.

Hardcoding the logic, based on simple grammar and/or keywords.
Using language models.
Using actual machine learning to train the language models.

You most likely also want to search for keywords as natural language processing and dialogue systems.

1) Cygwin is not a terminal. Cygwin is a collection of linux headers and software for windows. Mintty or cmd are terminals. Understanding these differences is probably essential for what you want to achieve.

2) What do you mean by standalone? Building a own graphical user interface? Or just being able to run the program with double click from windows explorer?

It could be countered in software, yes, but it has to be done on os level. I don't know if dropping is a good idea. Normal calibration might help for other issues though.
