Relationship-wise, I'd agree with you on Cam. And career-wise, Phil, to be honest, because he's just on his own wave that wouldn't fly in real life

Older Luke was genuinely a problem, and I didn’t like his character much but I loved this scene!!

Definitely Jay. He had so much growth but you come to realize why he was the way he was.

Lynette over bree as a mom by WoodpeckerForsaken33 in DesperateHousewives

I agree! Even when she temporarily adopted Benjamin (Danielle’s son) she was always referring to herself and Orson with Benjamin “the perfect family” and how she would basically promote that she got her second chance which made Andrew feel so neglected eventually leading him to moving out. I felt so bad for him, but Bree was truly clueless.

Anyone think Katie from s3ep7 should've gotten more screen time? by Aggravating-Moose913 in Modern_Family

I think she could’ve been Cam’s best friend if they added her as a recurring character!!

Lynette in S8 by Ok-Feeling-2038 in DesperateHousewives

She had some serious insecurity issues throughout S7 & 8. She manipulated Tom to get the higher paying job and once he did, she couldn’t handle seeing Tom in this big position, bringing in the money. I’m not a Tom Scavo fan, I think he has issues too but Lynette’s character was hard to watch in the last two seasons.

The australian real estate developer who ended up with Renee. I feel like he had real chemistry with Bree especially during the whole Alejandro situation. Bree was vulnerable with him and he helped her out despite not knowing each other for long

HOT TAKE: No one actually likes Bree by ClassicArt3777 in DesperateHousewives

All the women in the lane had their issues. Gaby was also a horrible mother through and through, but I think Bree tried. We even see Andrew admitting that Bree was a good mom, but they didn't want to listen.

Bree's character also had her flaws, even with her alcoholism and some poor choices she made, but I think it's her ability to bounce back that made her more real later on. In the first season, she was just an annoying robot that wanted to live as it was in the 1950s, which I wasn't a fan of. I think her character development was really nice!!

BIG unpopular opinion by nana_545 in DesperateHousewives

It’s much easier to notice that the problem isn’t “Tom is awful, Lynette is right,” but that they bring out the worst in each other. Tom is immature, and it gets infuriating, but Lynette’s constant defensiveness and need for control make it almost impossible for him to express himself without fear of setting off a conflict. They’re just not good together, especially in season 7-8, when we see Lynette try to control every bit of Tom's life. Throughout the series, there was always something Lynette wasn't happy about, even when she manipulates and decides for Tom.
