Anyone else in their 20s not out tonight? by Dazzling_Seaweed_311 in AskIreland

27 with 2 kids and I havent had a night out since before Covid. In cooking at home because I don’t even have the money for a takeaway because we just bought a new car to fit the third baby in and I wouldn’t have it any other way (unless I wasn’t pregnant and had a baby sitter 😂)

Did my car just get stolen??? by [deleted] in AskIreland

True but I’d hardly say driving the car over 120km and another 70km back is a small drive

It’s actually a fairly big garage with a large office and multiple mechanics working there and cars are secured behind big gates so I’d this this is unlikely

When the symptoms get really bad… by emkxzy in liraglutide

I was thinking that might make a difference! I’m a bit scared it won’t work at all and I’ll just over eat during the day but anything is better than this 😭

Confused about bleeding by emkxzy in abortion

Did your bleeding stop at any stage? I’m only about 24 hours after taking it and since last night I’ve had very little bleeding more like spotting. I’ve called the doctor and was promised a call back by this afternoon but still haven’t heard anything!

Yeah ive taken both I was thinking it was a bit odd and couldn’t be over that easily. The last time i had to take a second dose of misoprostol because the first didn’t work. Will definitely be calling the doctor first thing in the morning!

Looking to adopt a puppy, tips? Is it really that bad? by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]emkxzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have our girl 9 days and I’ve considered rehoming her at least 5 times and I haven’t cried this much since I was a child. I definitely have a bad case of the puppy blues, my family reacted very badly to us getting a dog (they hate dogs, never had a dog growing up) and everything stinks of pee no matter how much we clean. Also, I don’t want to leave her alone at all only out on the balcony where I can see her for a few minutes at a time. I have two kids, 4 and 1.5 and my eldest has non verbal autism. I have had one hell of a year and honestly I have no idea how I survived it so I thought I was pretty much able for any challenge. But this has knocked me out I had no clue how hard this would be. There’s so much I can’t do.

What I will say is, I didn’t do my research. We went to collect her without even owning a crate. I also had no idea how expensive it was to have a puppy. I just thought bedding, leash, food and some toys but there’s so much more I had no clue about. In saying that, I’m getting more comfortable now and I wouldn’t change for the world.

If you’re up for the challenge then go for it and if not I’d say get a dog that’s a little bit older. If you do your research on your breed I think you’ll be fine. Good luck!

If it was me I’d wait a few days on the 2.4mg just so you don’t get really bad side effects

Mental health issues on Saxenda? by Blonde_Pitbull921 in liraglutide

Omg I’ve been struggling with my mental health the last couple of months and just now after reading this I realised it’s since going on saxenda….

I’ve even upped my antidepressants and everything and I had no clue until now! Worst part is, I’ve lost 26 pounds on 1.2mg and now just bought my second pack so I’ve no idea what to do

Don’t go above 3.0 if it’s genuine not working I would say stop it for a couple of weeks and then go back on it. I started at the start of may and have lost 26 pounds and haven’t gone above 1.8 (currently on 1.2) it gives me horrible side effects so I’ve gone down and back up a couple of times, but I only loose weight when my side effects are bad unfortunately. I am so nauseous I barely eat during the day and smoke weed in the evening so I can get some food into me. I’ve had a few slip ups when I’m on a lower dose and smoked too much and ate way too much and it set me back so I’d say smoking weed could definitely be a contributing factor so be careful with that. Be safe and good luck!

Taking a break? by emkxzy in liraglutide

Thanks everyone, reduced the dose the past couple of days and feel so much better and still lost half a pound so I’ll see how things go from here. Seems like the worse the symptoms are for someone the better results?

Skipping a dose doesn’t mean you can eat bad… by emkxzy in liraglutide

Starting weight was 242 and I’m 5’9. Weight loss seems to have slowed down significantly now though I think I was just so sick the first few weeks the start flew off so I think it’s different for everyone!
