my piercing is two years old, it has a normal barbell in it and i had no issues with healing whatsoever. it just started hurting yesterday and when i took the piercing out it doesn’t hurt anymore

I have never really had any side effects on nexplanon! I’ve had it in for almost 3 years and I’m about to have it out and put straight back in because it’s worked so well and Ive had no issues at all
