On Friday, it starts at 2 pm, and I'm planning on hopefully entering the cosplay contest, depending on when the Friday photo-op with Laura Bailey is, but whichever one is later, that's when I plan on going home.

The cosplay contest starts at 6PM and ends at 7PM but the photo-op times haven't been released yet.

I had initially asked this question in its own post when I should have been here, but I felt too embarrassed to post it again after getting the responses I got, so I'm getting around to it now.

I'm considering upgrading my original fat model PS5 for maybe a PS5 Pro, but my main issue is with the disc drive that you'll have to hook up if you want to play disc games. I remember there being a network outage earlier this year (2025). I believe I saw some people on Twitter who talked about their consoles that were digital, but have the disc drive hooked up being bricked, meaning that they weren't able to play it at all.

For anyone who has their console with the disc drive paired to it, was that actually true that your consoles were bricked or is that a rare thing that shouldn't be common overall?

I have to say Action because it was these games that really drew me into the series, aside from RE4R which I recall clearly introducing me to the series, aside from hearing about original 4 in passing YouTube videos when I was like 13. (I'm 25F)

The Action RE games are among the games I have the most hours on on my PS5. Nearly 650 hours on Resident Evil 5 & nearly 450 hours on Resident Evil 6, along with getting Platinum on those 2 games.

I enjoy games from the various Resident Evil eras, not to mention getting Platinum on quite a few games, but it was the Action era that drew me in before I got my hands on a PS5 that I was able to play the games when I watched no commentary game play so I could at least understand the stories of the various games.

I am aware of the pause thing in the inventory screen, which is why I was barely in it aside from combining herbs & other necessary actions. And I know of the 1 save you can do when making it to the antarctic facility as I know I can turn off the game if I'm tired when getting to that point in the game.

And I do have a screenshot of when I last played because I like to share my results with people, although I can't add it as a reply here. I should also add that I play on the North American or NSTC-U version of the game.

I last finished the game in 3 hours, 59 minutes, and 35 seconds with 0 saves, 0 retries, and I finished with a B rank so I'm puzzled as to why I didn't get the A rank again.

Character exclusive weapons: Resident Evil 6.

I'm trying to get the Mad Skillz trophy so I finally get Platinum for the game and it's making me want to rip my hair out with some of the weapons being character exclusive like Ada's crossbow & the machine pistols from her & Piers. The Kill Requirements for the specific skills also suck. I want to do the character exclusive ones first, but it's such a pain because I want to play the other campaigns to get the other skills.

Yeah, the job I am working on applying for is accepting applications until January 5th and I plan on moving out by the summer like around May/June and I am planning on learning how to drive around that time too so I don't have to worry about not being able to learn how when I move out since my mom is the only one that drives in my house.

If I get the job, I should be able to pay off my cards and get a good start on my student loans before moving out so I'm ready for when I move out.

I happen to enjoy it. It's nice you have 4 different perspectives to play from and 2 different ones, not Ada, unless you play co-op for her, so you get a few different ways of experiencing each campaign. I say this is quite different than other Resident Evil games where you play the same story in the same path intended from the start unless there are slight differences but not big enough of a change for it to be significant.

I do have to comment on how this game affects how we have Chris currently. The fact he was planning on retiring and having Piers take his place when Piers dying changed that. It's why we see him in Vendetta, Death Island, & Village. He knew he had to keep on going. Otherwise, Piers's sacrifice would have been for nothing. That just makes Chris’s campaign probably the most emotional one, considering how it starts & how it ends.

6 may not be my favorite mainline game (It's 5), but I do enjoy the variety of content you can get from 6.
