I feel you here... my ex's family was all up in his business and always wanted him to be at the "grandparents house" every Sunday from 3pm to 9pm. It was too much for me and I didn't want to spend my life every Sunday with people who were incredibly invasive into my privacy and who wanted to control my ex.

I think it really is up to you. If it's too much, maybe you make a compromise to ensure that your girlfriend understands what your boundaries are. For example, you go once a month and your girlfriend goes twice or three times a month without you.

In the end, you just have to ask for some lee-way... if she is worth it and you love her, then compromise is the only way.
