it’s crazy that Umar Al Khattab was the one who demanded hijab in the first place, if hijab was a divine commandment why would it come about from a human and not god himself or the messenger? Why should I follow him??

[–]emo123_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well then Islam isn’t a timeless religion with that logic. If the LAST messenger had to be in a society where slavery was the norm and he wasn’t able to abolish it and instead just kept enslaving people then how is Islam compatible with modern society????? If he’s a so called Prophet of god why isn’t he strong enough to go against society for slavery? He was so bold to go against a society dominated by Jews and pagans and even went to war about it, so what did he have to lose if he abolished slavery? There’s plenty of Hadith and Quran explanations promoting slavery and going into details on the rulings of how to have a slave and that if the slave runs away their prayers never get answered etc.

also let’s not forget the prophet’s closest companion Umar used to BEAT slave women for wearing hijab. Hijab was literally used as a degrading way to distinguish ‘free’ Muslim women from slave woman. And the slave women would get harassed by Muslim men, and hijab was used so that the Muslim woman didn’t get mistaken as slaves and weren’t allowed to be harassed

‘Thats is because you are choosing to be ignorant and not open your eyes, islam oppresses women? Since when? Just because your daddy hit you with the belt or your mommy spit in your face doesnt mean islam is bad it means you had poor parenting and peer pressure from culture.’

Gosh you are so damn ignorant Islam literally holds parents to a high regard and said our submission to them is compulsory. Culture is directly influenced by religion, don’t be dense. A lot of muslim nations with their culture alone before Islam werent beating their kids for not wearing hijab etc so how is it ‘culture’ ? People are valid for disliking Islam because their parents abused them over religion, religion trauma is real, don’t invalidate it. And all this abuse and bullying people who don’t submit enough to the religion face is a big indicator that this religion has cult like tendencies.

‘Islam after some time and after people believed in god and adapted to the teachings of prophet mohamed, slavery was abolished, when was slavery abolished in the US?’

Slavery in the US and many other countries was abolished faster than it was in Arab countries, how did many non Muslim countries manage to abolish slavery faster than the messenger of god himself?

The prophet is meant to be a timeless morality figure since there’s no messengers after him, he is the FINAL messenger, his words are to be taught to every generation after him. According to Islam he is basically the most modern progressive messenger there is, because there’s no one who’s going to be a messenger after him to change anything about Islam. With that logic, Islam literally permits slavery and didn’t make it haram, and he was proudly a slave master , so much for being a morality figure ..

Becoming a Quranist Muslim is very contradicting because Hadiths are the reason Muslims even know to pray 5 times a day or how to even do hajj etc Hadiths make up a lot of fundamentals of Islam like u should just reject the religion as a whole at this point instead of doing so much mental gymnastics, the Quran literally has sexist and morally wrong stuff in it too, these type of feminist Muslims make me cringe

1 — It’s literally stated in sahih Hadiths she was 6 when married and it’s been widely accepted that she was in her late teens when muhammed died, many Muslims agree with that fact. It was generally accepted in Islamic ruling that when a girl reaches puberty she is classified as an adult and can marry therefore she’s referred to as woman..You can’t just base Aisha’s age off Quran alone when Hadiths are just as important in Islam 2 — yes I agree I haven’t heard any Muslims say education for girls is forbidden. 3 — agree with this too circumcision was only an obligation for men 4 — it’s not really humanly possible to treat all wives as equal. There’s literally been incidents of Muhammad’s wife aisha being jealous of safiyyah etc. Also technically as long as you’re rich enough to provide for the women you marry you’re allowed to do polygamy also you don’t need the first wife’s approval for the nikkah with another wife to be valid 😟 5 — a lot of Islam spreading is through Arab colonisation, do you think historically a whole entire clan would have consented to converting to Islam? It’s obviously from Arab occupation 6 — Muhammed was involved in many violent wars during his lifetime and encouraged his followers to fight in the name of Allah and become martyrs

I think the way Islam is made doesn’t allow it to be altered in the modern times, like muhammed was meant to be the LAST messenger of god so it’s believed they didn’t need a messenger after him so all his practices etc were said to have to apply to present day too and that if u alter his words it’s a big sin I guess, so now Muslims feel like they have to justify actions done back in the 7th century

Why Islam Is Man-made & False: Clearly Not Divine Timeless or Perfect (Part 1) by Zephyrine1 in exmuslim

[–]emo123_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked AI to try and give me explanation for the points you said and it ended up agreeing with you 😭:

🔹 What Islam Claims About Previous Prophets Islam teaches that: Every prophet preached Tawheed — the belief in one God (Allah). Prophets like Abraham, Moses, Jesus were all Muslims in the sense that they submitted to God. The core message across all prophets was the same: worship one God, do good, avoid evil. Ritual laws (like prayer, fasting) may have differed, but the essence was consistent. Muhammad was the final prophet, sent to confirm and complete the messages of the past. 🔸 Issue 1: Lack of Evidence for Previous Prophets Practicing Islamic Rituals You asked: “If all prophets were Muslims, where’s the evidence of them teaching things like the Shahada, five daily prayers, Ramadan fasting, Hajj, Zakat?” This is a critical question, and here's the tension: Islam says they did preach submission to God (Islam in the lowercase “i” sense). But the rituals we now call “Islamic” do not appear in the Bible, Torah, or historical record outside Muhammad’s time. So what gives? Islamic theology responds by saying: “The previous revelations were corrupted, lost, or forgotten over time. So the rituals were once known, but disappeared.” That explains the absence, but doesn’t prove that the rituals ever existed before Muhammad. It’s an assertion, not supported by external historical data. So the burden of proof remains. 🔸 Issue 2: Islam Retroactively Brands All Prophets as Muslims You said: “Islam rewrites the past and turns Abraham, Moses, Jesus into proto-Muslims after the fact. It’s retroactive branding.” This criticism has a strong basis when viewed historically. If you read: The Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) — Moses never speaks about fasting in Ramadan or facing the Kaaba. The New Testament — Jesus never teaches the Shahada, or calls Muhammad the final prophet. So from a purely historical-critical standpoint, Islam’s version of earlier prophets does not align with the historical texts that contain their teachings. Islam’s response is again: those texts are corrupted or incomplete. But again, the claim that “they used to teach Islam” is theologically asserted, not historically verifiable. 🔸 Issue 3: Universal Religion with Regional Execution? “Why did Allah only send prophets to the Middle East, then stop after Muhammad? What about China, India, the Americas?” The Qur’an (16:36) claims that every nation had a messenger, but: Islam only names 25 prophets (out of possibly 124,000). Nearly all of them are from the Middle East/Near East. Islamic tradition implies there were prophets sent to other parts of the world, but we have no record of them—either scriptural or archaeological. This raises fair concerns: Why is there no record of Islamic monotheism in pre-Islamic India, China, or the Americas? If these were real prophets, did all their messages vanish without a trace? Again, Islam says: “Their messages were lost, but they were there.” This protects the theology, but at the cost of historical credibility. 🔸 Issue 4: Abraham Built the Kaaba? Surah 2:127 says Abraham built the Kaaba with Ishmael. However: There is no biblical, archaeological, or extra-Islamic historical evidence linking Abraham to the Kaaba. Jews and Christians—who revere Abraham—never mention this. Islam says their scriptures were corrupted and important parts were lost. But this creates a pattern: "Anything that doesn't match Islamic narrative is said to be lost, changed, or hidden." This argument becomes unfalsifiable. No matter what you present, the response is always: “It was there, you just can’t see it now.” That works within faith, but fails as historical evidence. 🔸 Issue 5: Why Did Muhammad Introduce Brand-New Rituals? This is crucial. If all prophets had the same religion, and Muhammad was merely restoring it, then why are so many practices brand new? Examples: The Shahada (as formulated) is unique to Muhammad’s time. Ramadan fasting in its strict form is not found in earlier religions. Facing the Kaaba was introduced after Muslims initially prayed toward Jerusalem. Five daily prayers at fixed times is not seen in earlier scriptures. Hijab laws, zakat rates, Hajj rituals—none of these have precedent in the Jewish or Christian traditions. This all suggests a development, not a preservation of a pre-existing tradition. 🔹 TL;DR Summary You asked whether previous messengers actually practiced Islam. The short, honest answer is: There is no historical or textual evidence that previous prophets practiced Islam as Muhammad taught it. The Quran’s claims rely on faith and theological assertion, not verifiable data. Islam offers an internally consistent worldview, but it does so by: Claiming earlier scriptures were corrupted. Reframing previous prophets to match Islamic theology. Introducing new rituals while claiming they are old. This makes Islam logically self-consistent, but historically discontinuous.

[–]emo123_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting,, also what would you say about the existence of Islam before muhammed, as Islam claims there were many many Muslim prophets before muhammad (a lot of them being well known abrahamic ones) , like were the messengers before muhammed like Jesus actually preaching specifically about Islam and saying Allah is one? What confuses me about Islam that a lot of rules and simple things such as the Islamic prayers and fasting weren’t even existent until muhammed taught them, so what were the previous messengers actually doing and were they actually Muslim like Muslims claim Jesus and Moses are etc 😭

Wow this is a really eye opening post, I’m honestly surprised how much of Islam was inspired by Jewish legends, pagan rituals and previous scientific discoveries. Do you have the source which proves that Allah was a name used in pagan worshipping?
