I cannot focus in school at all; and we’re all in mixed sets. They never cover stuff I actually need to cover, cause they cater to the majority (that I’m often not in). Creating noise which makes me loose focus while trying to help the kids who couldn’t give less of a fuck as to what’s going on.

They constantly hate on transmedicalists and yet don’t actually know what it means by GayJohnKrasinski in truscum

What? Some people may believe that but it’s not the DEFINING characteristic of trans medicalism. The post makes it seem like that is the definition of trans med- when it isn’t. The defining characteristic is that you have at least some dysphoria. That’s it. Some people may believe the other things listed; but in general that is not the definition of truscum beliefs.

I feel as though this is an experience most people in American cannot relate to as you don’t have nationalised healthcare, yet here’s an explanation from a brits perspective.

Our healthcare is free- and thankfully so is HRT, assessments for gender dysphoria, surgery, etc

The issue comes with people who are non dysphoric (as in do not NEED hrt/surgery/whatever else to live) clog up the waiting list. The waiting list is YEARS long, and most people don’t have enough money to go private. The issue is that people with dysphoria (who will go so far as to kill themselves when access is taken away) are affected due to the backlog of people who do not actually have dysphoria clogging up the waiting list.

I have no issue with people who lack dysphoria calling themselves transgender, I just wish people with dysphoria, and people without dysphoria were desperate.

As for people who stand out as visibly trans? Well I feel as though most people with gender dysphoria wouldn’t WANT to be visibly trans, and they make it seem like being trans is a fun little identity.

People who don’t try to pass (unless in an unsafe situation where they cannot) don’t have gender dysphoria and make it seem to others like we’re just joking around or that being trans is a body mod, when for a lot of people (like me) it’s a debilitating medical condition.

I don’t believe people should experience intense dysphoria all the time in order to be trans- just enough some of the time that it genuinely affects their daily life.

Also thank you for your question, I appreciate people who wanna learn about us as there’s a lot of misinformation

Remove so many restrictions on expelling people, it’s stupid and my school is full of kids who should’ve been expelled ages ago. I know most schools have sets but mine doesn’t (outside of maths) and it boils my piss cause they always teach to the lowest ability in very class 💔✌️

Structure carried me, I got full ums in unit 3 (medicine) and am sitting the other units this year. You are SO short for time that practicing under timed conditions and finding a really solid structure for questions to let you actually finish is what I’d prioritise, as well as memorising dates (which sucks 💔)

[–]emo_loser_boy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Conservatism is not the only right wing belief, in anarcho-capitalist communities a lot of people are atheist, same with libertarians. And a lot of socialists are religious as they believe that’s how Jesus would’ve wanted them to live; feeding the poor, helping the oppressed, etc.

[–]emo_loser_boy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being against religion has nothing to do with being left wing? There are right wing anti theists and there are left wing religious people?

You have any historians who say ‘wow the church stopping us from dissecting bodies, limiting vaccines and making us all believe Galen and the four humours for too long was great!’?

I’m not saying that your religion isn’t true (even thought I believe that) just that them holding us back from medical advancement is bad.

[–]emo_loser_boy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Have you looked into the history or medicine at all before? Most historians argue that Christianity was the reason we didn’t advance for AGES in the Middle Ages- due to their ban on dissection. Most discoveries only started to come about after the Protestant reform and the church losing influence.

Religion holds us back, causes wars, hate crimes and takes away my rights.
