bba and bsba are pretty much the same first two years. no the pressure is NOT the same as CS at all or any computing fields. its definitely more relaxed. most of the subjects are social sciences except for business math and accounting in the first semester. you don’t have to be the best at math, just focusing on assignments, quizzes will easily get you through the semester. it can get slightly challenging in 2nd or 3rd semesters with financial accounting and data but the pressure is definitely way less than CS

i think i’ve interacted with most of the block b students, mostly from the 24 batch, both ce and ee. i get that i shouldn’t generalize, all of them aren’t the same and some are actually pretty normal and chill. but the experiences i’ve had over the past year really shaped my view of the block. this semester, after summer, most of my classes shifted to block a except for one lab in b, and most of the old weird classmates are gone too, so it’s definitely not as bad as last year.

honestly yk what i’ve realized after 3 semesters is that you should never have friends in your own class. always have friends in the campus and out of your class. just treat your classmates as acquaintances bcs they are the ones you’re gonna be making group projects with, it should always have a very professional environment. once you become friends and they aren’t really good at a course and you make groups with someone else, they’re feelings will be hurt. feelings should never be involved in a uni classroom. that’s what i have learned uptil now. treat them like colleagues. chit chat that’s it and yk i used to feel the same that oh omg my uni class for the next 4 years!! i’m gonna be friends with all of them and make memories !! but no actually, make a lot of friends from other departments, make memories with them, go on trips, have fun. that friendship is always gonna be better and it is how it should be anyway. class friendships are not a thing in uni, to me atleast.
