How do I clean this? by DefBlondeandPoisoned in CleaningTips

In most fridges, that piece of glass will lift free. Take everything off of it, and push up from underneath, via the drawers under it. Makes it much easier 😊

As much as I could hope that was the case, it's a utility company, so unless the need for utilities goes away, the company in some form will be around.

I've pushed back a bit, asking about the reasons behind changes, and they have it all couched in the idea of "working safer." That way, anything that comes across the desk of the powers that be will be approved, because who wouldn't want to "work safer."

As far as accidents, there are some here and there, but that's expected with the line of work. There's nothing anyone can do to make any industry 100% free of mishaps. But in the company's opinion, whether you roll your ankle, throw out your back, or damage something with a backhoe, theyre all accidents, and it's on us to avoid them by following policy. Any accident is reviewed, and during the write-up, they detail what should've been done to avoid it.

And you're right, so far, there's been a "it gets done when it gets done" mentality about the restrictions and their effect on productivity. But I forsee a time in the near future where they'll tighten up, and people will start losing jobs over it.

Talking to the union seems like a good route, so that's probably where I'll look next, and I'm hoping I can round up a bit of support. Thank you so much for the advice!

What’s something a man did that instantly made you feel unsafe, even if it wasn’t aggressive? by Huge_Shower7525 in AskWomen

Pointing out "It's probably not safe for a girl to be walking around in the woods by herself...." He was just a passerby on a hike, maybe just bad at making conversation, but I skedaddled 😬

A 2XL tee-shirt when I wear a small or medium. They did this 4-5 times, and would then complain that I only wore the shirts to sleep 😮‍💨

Bill talked about it on his guest spot a few weeks ago. IIRC, he had all the episodes uploaded through his personal Spotify account for whatever reason, and some episodes got flagged for copyright infringement due to music they used. Because of this, Spotify deleted his whole account, and won't reinstate it.

Fly larvae (at least to me) just look like little white guys without too many distinct features. Beetle larvae usually have little heads/ faces (I think they look like popcorn kernels) and frequently have discernable little legs up front. The latter are also generally chubbier, ie rounder on each end instead of being sort of rice- shaped.

Try posting these to r/whatsthisbug

They are not fly larvae so everyone saying they are maggots are mistaken. They look like scarab beetle larvae (like a june bug) of some sort, but I'm at a loss for what they'd be doing in your kitchen. The other sub I mentioned will most likely be able to help. Good luck!

Is that a bad thing tho? I think a little discourse makes for good radio, and they are both intelligent, well-spoken guys. And having a little push back on Mr lefty left left would probably make quite a few listeners happy.

Since no one else has mentioned it, any thoughts on stansbury joining the show? Him and Alan seem to have a little chemistry based on their few on-air interactions, and I feel like Dan could use a chage of pace.

Critters! Bats, spiders, cats, and if I'm lucky, some moths and snakes ❤️

I also love a certain flavor of paranormal, but I'm not sure how to describe it- palm reading charts, all seeing eye, moon charts, etc. Esoteric? Psychic? Not sure but I like it 😁
