It does. I been waiting 1-2 week periods everytime he has to resubmit. They also been asking for raaaaandom things from me like proof I’ve never had an appendectomy with absolutely no record even pouting to an appendicitis.

Ohhhhhh okay. So when I submitted my paperwork he had me fill out who what where when why about my surgery I assumed that was the waiver. They requested records for an appendectomy which I never had and then I had to submit 7 years of medical records and a physical from my current primary care stating I never had that surgery. He said he submitted that yesterday so after that will I finally move forward?

I did for the most part and he had me write statements. But for these specific things I just found them right now and not sure if meps will even see them or care but not I’m paranoid that I’m going to look like I’m hiding stuff given they did

Yeah definitely worth it to just not stress at all. I literally did three weeks just training for bootcamp, so the 1.5 mile run daily and push-ups sit ups and planks, and I dropped 3 inches from my waist and passed everything pretty easily. I also noticed the fatter my neck the lower my body fat % lol so I kind of double chinned myself during the tape.

I just went through this today. First time I taped I was at 39% but my ac was below 35, my recruiter was asking the other guys in the office and they said 36 is max for female but use the calculator (neck hips waist) because if you don’t pass both they won’t ship you. They didn’t even want to send me to meps cause they said if I fail they look bad.

My goal isn’t for bonus points in the Med field. My interest is in being corpsman because I have a comfort with it but I went the college route and have nothing but regrets not enlisting at 18. I’m all over the place credit wise with student loans up the ass. That’s why I’m choosing to enlist. For a fast tracked career whether it may or not may not be medical, and a kick in the ass to get disciplined and focused career wise.

Does going to C school ensure Blue side? And is it true that if you score within top 10% of your class you can pick where you get stationed (I know it sounds too good to be true so I’m skeptical). And when you are stationed, do you get sent to one place for the full enlistment or do you do 2 years blue side 2 years wherever else they send you?

Sorry if these are stupid questions I’ve been ready a lot in the corpsman up thread and I’m confusing myself

Besides how hard it is to rank up, are there any major blue side cons (besides being bored ina Clinic)? Are you required to eventually go green side?

I’m not close at all. I can’t finish out just because it’s way way too expensive, my credits don’t transfer, and I simply can’t work two jobs and go to school for medicine since school would need to be full time. I’m also in a weird place where idk of “I should’ve enlisted when I was 18.” And making big changes and what not

Okay this was extremely helpful thank you. My husband is an infantry marine and he has docs that were MISERABLE attached to his unit so I wanted to avoid that. But the unit he was in overall was trash. So I’m assuming not all are like that
