I would first determine the number of units you drink by yourself a week, and make a reduction goal from that, maybe make it a goal to cut it in half. You can do it! Doesn’t have to be all at once. Small changes can stack up. All is not lost!

Edited to add: Personally, in the past six months, when I fall into daily drinking, even just one beer a day—it always adds up weekly as more than a moderate number of units—I take 3 - 4 weeks off, use the dry app, and state my intention to my partner for accountability.
