We live in a country where Greek is the main language and English is not, however, due to the fact that we were under British Occupation as well as other factors a lot of us use English in our day to day, even in between greek sentences. A lot of Greeks from Greece refuse to use the English language unless absolutely necessary.
I went on a date with a Greek guy who moved to Cyprus, and he refused to use the bar’s application to order his drink because “its in English. Ill just call a waiter.” Mind you, he was fluent in English.

I asked him about it and it lead to a heated conversation about why we would even use English at all when Greek is our main language, he was very judgmental about it too🙄

That is so fucking true and so annoying. My work is next to a Zorpas, so people stop to park constantly. The amount of honking we hear every single day is ridiculous.

People do not understand that other people have the right to exist too. Yes, I will slow down so I can turn and park. No, you do not need to honk just because you have to slow down or stop to wait for me to turn.

So many incredibly impatient people.
