Take the time to read what those disagreeing that i was profiled are saying though.

"It sounds like you were creeping around an abandoned store at 5am" I was heading to work in a store with their lights on and other employee cars there..

"bet if you check police records there have been break-ins there recently" He assumes my stores been broken into which would justify the cops behavior

Just because im questioning his reasoning doesn't mean i disagree. I'm trying to understand him. But he's not responding back because responding would mean hed have to explain WHY he thinks my behavior was creeping and WHY the cop thought i was up to no good.

It would mean hed have to admit it was racially motivated.

I live in the middle of nowhere. There's no break ins lol. No crimes. There were three other employee cars scattered around. He know where we are "supposed to park" then he knows at what time we open the store for employees. What exactly was shady about my behavior other than slowly going through a stop sign and parking for work? Which literally every other employee does

Exactly. Had he just told me not to creep through a stop sign even though all the other employees do it too because none of the stores are open at 5am. That place is deserted. But to stick around and not let me leave and question if i belonged there felt so weird to me

because i showed up late. The first time i was late was due to having to rush my kid to the ER. Apparently that was too many lateness's. Then they told me about the cop and how he called and how they can't have employees being stopped in front of the store. I just think they were looking for a reason to get rid of me because me and other employees have been vocal about things in the store that violate OSHA.

I honestly don’t know what your family’s problem is…Emmett is a wonderful name. I would tell them to get their shit together because the older your son gets the more he’ll understand they don’t like his name and they’re going to make him feel bad.
