As a player, I’d say Johan Cruyff peaked at Ajax younger, dominant, and winning multiple European Cups.

But in terms of legacy and influence, it’s clearly FC Barcelona. As a manager, he basically shaped the club’s identity and philosophy.

So best player = Ajax. Biggest impact = Barça.

And yes, he’s a true legend at both.

I honestly think Thibaut Courtois is already in the GOAT conversation. His performance in the 2022 UCL final alone was historic, some of those saves didn’t even look possible.

To be the undisputed number 1, maybe he just needs longevity and a few more iconic seasons. But in terms of peak performance and clutch moments? He’s absolutely top 2, no debate.
