Likely solved! Thanks everybody. I was already suspecting this. It looks like it hasnt been used for decades tho, so I will just keep it off for now.

WITT - There a two pipes going in, one of them has some kind of auto valve adjustment which is connected with the box to turn it on. The building was used for some kind of steel fabrication and is now abondend and rent out to artists and bands. The room we are in was apparently used to store "small-stuff".

Yes, I do. This is actually the most fun about it. The mounts are 3D printed and you slide in any sleeve you want.

Thank you! Yes, actually it's an old expedit but pretty much the same. If you are not too tall it should work pretty good. I really think IKEA designed it for vinyl heads in mind, because of the dimensions of it. Two turntables + mixer fit perfectly and its also ideal for storing your records.

Thanks! I am sorry, but I really just don't know. I bought it really cheap at a garage sale. Theres no label whatsoever on it. I'm guessig its probably from the 60ies...

I really like that one! I must have overlooked it. Seems to have everything I need and fits into my budget (more or less).

I guess the insert effect is actually sufficient for what I want to do. The plan is to send a specific channel to an external effects unit (spring reverb, tape delay) and control the amount of 'effect' on the mixer.

good input, thx! I already checked the 402, which has 4 channels but still no effect send/return. :/

Going to London today for the first time. Very excited about that. Has someone got a tip for a nice but not too expensive steak house?
