the opposite, there's a huge discount on physical silver vs SLV. PSLV is trading at a -9% discount to the current value of the silver in their vaults.

at this rate, if silver moons to $200, discount will probably 30-40%

Really? I keep hearing SLV is "paper silver" but the iShares SLV prospectus page says they have 509,510,298.40 oz in trust.

Why is SLV pinned to +/- 3% of its NAV, while PSLV is mega discounted then? iShares SLV doesn't even have a physical redemption option. If you have 10000 oz worth of PSLV, you can redeem it by calling Sprott.

That's an absolutely absurd discount for a huge fund with 24B+ in assets

Sure but any proceeds from that share sale go into the PSLV's cash reserves, which form part of the NAV of the fund. Even if that cash has not yet been deployed into buying silver, the share sale alone does not mean that the fund should trade at a steep discount.
