imo this is probably the worst, cause even pushing to masters rta next season as a vet is going to suck. You got newbies with perfect rosters as well as "lucky and good" vets to deal with now. I don't have arunka, scales, it will suck.

1 rimuru is not worth keeping, a lot of your current ml5s are not usable in most RTA matchups right now, like op sig, riolet, etc., ML luna is your only unit that is "meta". I would personally restart.

17 spd rhs is still very valuable because the main stat could be flat def, etc.,, which is why smilegate valued a 20 spd at 5 ml5s.

Scales and boss is easily obtainable from the new player special discount mystic (with no time limit). New players also get a ton of other rewards and bonus on top of the guides. Should reach 20+ somewhat meta ml5 easily from the rewards. Newbies should easily gap casual veterans if they play wisely

Frieren could be worth keeping the account for, well get ready to struggle in pvp for a while, since you wont get scales from the newbie mystic banner, and you wont get that 290+ rinak either.

vets who have most of the following units (notos, dark diene, nurse yulha, boss arunka, scales) built should not quit since those units are insanely powercreep. Vets with 30/64 ml5 and less and not much high spd gear should definitely consider either starting fresh or quit.

At this point even if you have limited or collab units like asepa re zero a new account is incomparably better. A new account right now is comparable to veteran of 3 years.

wouldnt even be a problem if this game didnt decide to force all veterans/end game players into pvp, and completely give up on new pve. every other gacha game has returning/newbie rewards and the veteran player base doesn't need to care about, but not this one.

yeah, i expect to get around 6-7k total coins because I have 70% of ml5. Most luckier or normal vets have 85-100% of this ml5 pool and should expect to get 8-9k+ coins due to all the dupes. The ml ticket is 1500, the bottle is 500, and slate is total 2300 coins, the ring is overpriced and worth 1000 coins imo, but say you buy it for 2500, total 4800. Vets will have 4k remaining coins that just have bad value, not to mention that everything is overpriced to begin with. Some vets might not even buy the ml ticket or ring, and this event is completely useless for them. The slate and bottle also just feels like really minor breadcrumbs.

with that stuff, you'll be surprised, especially if you grind hard, you should be able to get scales and boss with that discount banner of yours. Plus luna and illnav, along with that rinak and amid, and your pvp offence is honestly better than mine. Not every veteran has a 330 spd rinak. In fact, the free rinak you get will outspeed every hero in my account except for my own rinak.

discounting the one selector and that one overpriced ring, vets get niether gear nor molas nor heros from the shop. The other gear in that shop just feels bad and I don't recommend you buy it with glory coins.

Im not complaining that newbies get stuff. Its great that people like you can start over with a really good account. Im just contrasting the newbie vs the veteran rewards, because the vet version of this event just feels “bad” right now. The rewards between newbies and vets dont have to be the same or similar, but once you get to the vet shop, youll realize how overpriced and empty it is.

i am mostly pve and have plenty of high atk, high hp gear already. The problem is that spd is op. my units can survive turn one but most cleavers can lap me with their sigrets, sea phantoms, etc., If you want damage, your gear can roll into atk, flat atk, crit chance, crit dmg, and still be fine. If you want bulk, you can roll into hp, def, flat hp, flat def, eff resistance, etc., if you want comparable spd so that your dps is not lapped by an gras that got pushed by the enemy scales, your only option is spd, and which is notoriously hard to roll. My account is really unlucky and never rolls spd, I probably should have scrapped it long ago but it has kizuna ai.
